Temperatures have been slowly on the rise this week after a cold Sunday, November 13th. We’re back into the 70s today(Thursday) and the temperatures will continue to rise right into the start of the weekend.
Skies will be sunny for the rest of the week and temps will rise to near 10 degrees above average on Saturday, ahead of a strong cold front.
The front is sweeping across the country and will move across the Carolinas on Saturday.
There is very little moisture with the front so it should move through fairly dry Saturday afternoon but there is some much colder air behind it. It will be breezy and things will clear out and cool down quickly. Lows will drop in to the 30s inland Saturday night/Sunday morning and highs will only climb to the mid 50s inland and along the coast on Sunday.
Sunday will be a chilly day but the coldest air will arrive Sunday night/Monday morning. Lows will drop to around freezing inland with a few spots WNW of I-95 possibly dropping down below freezing for early Monday morning. We only rebound a few degrees on Monday before dropping down into the mid to upper 30s again Monday night. We make a nice jump on Tuesday before climbing back to the upper 60s at the beaches, to near 70 inland for midweek.
